A list of current projects is located on the "Current Business" page and will soon have some photos of our work.

V.C.M. works

October 2011
This month has been a mix of labors. Early in the month the work was on the outside of the house. Working on finishing the siding along the front of the house and painting this afterwards. Then it was inside for more tile work. This time I installed the hallway and living room floors. Generally, this isn't that hard of work, but when you take into account this is an active house(with daily living going on), things change. I'd have to install part of these one day, allow things to dry and then proceed to another section, after moving furniture and supplies to the previously done section. Plus having three small dogs to work around made things interesting :))) Nothing that couldn't be handled, one just has to take things in stride and thank the LORD for the wisdom to proceed !!!

Almost all the exterior work is complete, though there is one section of the carport still remaining to be painted. This will have to wait until weather conditions improve, considering we've had two cold fronts come thru lately :))) Nothing but a thing and nothing that can't be handled with the blessings of the LORD applied. In HIS time, this too shall be finished !!! Hopefully I'll be able to post more photos of this work, though having to request the aid of the home owners son and his skills(and camera). It seems my $20 wonder digital has gone south for the winter and will not work at all. What can you expect for $20 these days anyway :)))

September 2011
Continuing with the work on the outside of the house, more siding, thus more painting. Also was blessed with several weeks of inside work, replacing a wall, doing the drywall and then installing a tile floor in the dinning room. The interior work is done for the time being and I'm continuing to wrap up the exterior work, until I've other work inside to go onto.

 July, August 2011
I continued working on the exterior of the house, installing more siding and then began painting all that I've accomplished in previous months.

 June 2011
I'm now working on replacing an old 'asphalt shingle' roof. Starting by removing the old trim and inspecting the current underlayment. This will be replaced by an all metal trim and sheet roofing package upon delivery. Since my camera doesn't work and the recent 'lightening strike' on this computer, I'm not able to get any photos to post, but am working on seeing if the owner would oblige us in this area:)
   6.28.11
This is about completed, I've several hours worth of 'tie up' work to do and the roof and trim is completed. Then it will be on to the painting on the siding and trim on the rest of the house, which I'd already completed. There will be more work on this residence, such as the replacement of all the windows in front and residing it out, but this will come later on when the funds have become available. There will be photos posted of these, once their available(owner took them) and I can get them online:))) COMPLETE

 May 2011
I've begun another job, this one doing the exterior of a house needing to be completed. This includes siding and trimming out. Also will entail the removal and replacement of damaged and rotten wood. Hopefully will have photos to post on this job as well, if I can get my camera working properly. COMPLETE

 April 2011
4.29.11
Finished with the porch job, it took two days longer than estimated. Why, you may ask! The contractor who originally did the job, wasn't much of a carpenter. Things were all out of square, improperly laid out and incomplete. But now, she can use the porch and not worry about it falling apart and someone getting hurt. I also took care of a few other projects she needed to have done. All this may point to me being able to do the work for her, but the LORD got all the glory. Plus we had several hours, over the four days, in which we talked about the LORD and living our lives for HIM!!! This is why I do that which I do, to bring praise, honor, worship and glory to JESUS alone!!!
Will be shifting to another job tomorrow, the exterior of a house which has had some recent renovations left, unfinished! Thank YOU LORD for providing me the opportunity  to glorify YOU through the works of my hands and the words of my mouth!!! COMPLETE

This is the porch prior to my working upon it. The railing that you see here could of easily been pushed over, those 1 by 1's were it's only support. Also you can't well see it, but back by the water lines, there's a 16" opening, running from the doorway to the end of the porch.

This is the completed job! This rail, you can lean against and not worry about it falling over. Plus the opening along the wall has been closed in, leaving only an access hole for the waterlines and all fixtures. The way it should of been done originally! These photos supplied by owner.

4.25.11
Over the last several days, well really about a week or so, I've been monitoring severe weather reports from numerous sources. Some are re-postings from reliable sources and others have been gathered through my personal monitoring of radar sites. All these post are checked and crossed checked to make sure of their validity. This will be part of the operational coverage of the D.R.O.C. Using and distributing this information, for warnings and preoperative information for relief efforts. I'll have to say, for most of the time spent attending to this procedure, I've been really pushing the computer to it's limits. Today, I had to clear the cookies for the month, 167K worth of them. That is a lot of information to transverse in under a month. It has been a great blessing that the computer is continuing to function. One, I'm greatly thankful for and pray will continue until this system can be replaced with another one.

4.19.11
Praise the LORD!!!
It has been some time since I've been able to post here, that's because of the fact that I've been having to work most of the time. But since I'm no longer employed by the apartment complexes, I've time to do the LORD's work. I feel so much better, being able to help others with those jobs they need help with, than having to be driven like a slave for someone's monetary gain!

For the last week or so, I've been assisting on a bedroom renovation. Finishing up painting, trim work and all the assorted finish details. Another day or so and this part of the job will be done. These people also have a good bit of exterior work that will need to be tied up and I look forward to helping them with this too.

I've also another job in the same neighborhood. One of redoing a widow's wheelchair ramp and front porch. The contractor that originally did it, didn't do a very good job and it's incomplete and weakly built. I've need to rebuild the rails(well the one they put on) and complete it so people can use it and not get hurt.  As is, there's only one rail and if someone were to pull on it, they'd both be on the ground. It is also missing a railing at all on the other side of the ramp and has a 6' X 1 1/2' hole at the back edge (for faucet access). I've plans to  add on the two railings(for ramp), strengthen and complete the existing one and put either a planter box, or bench over the faucet access( owner dependent.)

Beyond this, I've several other options in the oven. What the LORD has in store, HE only knows and as you know by now(or should), I trust the LORD totally!!!

 December 2010

Put out fliers at both apartment complexes that I work at, asking if people would donate their un-used or unneeded items, so we can begin reaching out to those in the community who are in need! Only items in good and usable condition, those that you would personal be thankful to receive if you were in need, will be accepted. All types of small items, such as cookware, utensils, microwaves, T.V.s, clothes, bedding, bath-ware etc. Also looking for personal hygiene items and/or non perishable foods.

(12/29) Only received about a dozen items so far, but this is better than nothing at all :)))

October 2010

(10/14) With all the storm damage in the area, you'd think I'd be busy. Unfortunately that isn't true, due to the lack of transportation to get around. I have been blessed to help a young couple out here at the apartments. By passing along some of the things the LORD has blessed me with. With an over abundance of cookware, some of this was passed on. Also I'd been blessed with two microwaves and one of these went to them also. There was also a sectional couch, which now is blessing two households with comfort. They now have an extra bed due to the fact that it has a foldout to it. I was also blessed to enlist the apartment complex's manager into gathering 'baby' items that they'll be needing in a short time. They've been blessed by numerous others in this way!
I may not have the funding and other needs to help many, but I will put to use that which the LORD has blessed me with, to reach out and touch other people's lives for JESUS!!!

September 2010

There hasn't been the opportunity lately to do very much along the lines of ministry works. I've been having to work for the two apartment complexes that I'm employed by. We've had several storms come through the area and there was clean up work to do, on top of my normal maintenance duties. (09.16) I was blessed to be caught up on these and able to do some minor tree work, clearing fallen trees for a local Christian widow that was getting no help from her church family.

July 2010

So far this month(7.24) there has been little done within the ministry. I've been kept so busy working my two jobs that I've had little time or energy to work on much else. I've had several offers to give my testimony at several churches within the area and have placed this matter before the LORD! These will have to await HIS timing to happen. I know it is HIS will to give our testimonies to others, but unless given HIS permission to do so, this will wait until such is given. This would be a big step for me, for I've only done so one other time since becoming a Christian. This doesn't mean that I've never given 'personal' testimonies to people when led, but only once before  a large group. These would be in formal settings, set up and prepared for, more along the lines of preaching than witnessing. I know the days of my formal preaching will come, for it was in the visions of '97', but until it is the LORD's time, they will be delayed until the door is opened.

June 2010

For the most part, the month of June was one of working to make a living. After moving out of my host family's house and into an apartment there are now bills that have to get met. Since there is no money coming into the ministry at this time, these all coming out of pocket. Many who've started ministries know just what I'm talking about. All the bills of start up ministries will usually come from those within the ministry itself! Thus VCM has been funded in this manor and with it being myself alone that has been blessed with it's vision, I willing support everything that it does!!!

May 2010

(5.19.10) I've been doing a good amount of work lately. I've finished up the work on the elderly couples home, then they contracted me to also paint their garage. Which was undertaken and has been finished. I've also completed an interior paint job for a couple from the church. This included a fair amount of drywall repair also. I've also been contracted to paint the exterior of their house and should be starting this sometime near the start of next week. I had placed a bid in on a bathroom renovation and over a thousand sq. ft. of flooring, but was under bid by a man from the mission. Praise the LORD, for all is according to HIS will.

April 2010

(4.13.10) The weather had broken and I've been able to do some work outside. I've replaced an old chainlink fence, 67 feet worth, with a wooden privacy fence. I've also been able to get a little work done on the 'ongoing' project and removed and replaced an air conditioner unit that had been improperly mounted in the wall. This included having to trim out the exterior of the house where I'll be painting  shortly (as soon as the rain stops and the temps. remain above the 60's at night. I've also several other jobs that I'll be contacting here shortly, one a floor job and the other drywall and painting (int. and ext.).

March 2010

(3.10.10) VMNI Liberia Branch now has a total of 25 members, praise the LORD!!! They've more people there then have even asked about the ministry here. It is glorious!!! This has all come about through my providing one man with a copy of "Out of the LIGHT" and his taking it around to others and allowing them to read it. They've set up a board of directors and now have a temporary location for meetings and their office needs. GOD is truly moving there among people who truly are listening to the voice of GOD and seeking to reach out to all those that they can. They have a true servant's heart when it comes to spreading the GOSPEL. Now if only this will begin to happen in the United States!!!

Feb. 2010

Most of this month has been spent networking the site, with little results, but there has been plenty accomplished on the website. New items have been added and some added features to several pages. This has been minor though, due to the limitations of this computer system. Several modifications on ministry logos have been made and they now are colorized. Several forms have been modified also. The daily devotional has been going well, though there has been the need to re post several times, due  to the old 'puter, again. I will continue to try to keep it running the best I can, but there is only so much that I can do and improvements are truly out of the possible fixes. More RAM would only give it 512 M, the hard drive is about filled and a card to added USB 2.0 wouldn't make things much better. We'll just have to wait for a better system, before going too much farther on site improvements.

There has been two people that have joined this month. One assisting with the prayers and the other helping in the online promotions of it. The LORD is moving and I'm very thankful, but there is still a long ways to go for it to be that which HE has shown me in the visions of ' 97-98' and I do mean a long ways!!!

January 18, 2010

There has been a large amount of work on VMNI in Liberia, Africa taking place. There are currently five members getting ready to go 'in country' on a evangelism crusade. We've also another brother in CHRIST that is willing to go to Serra Leone on the same lines, but also more so a fact finding mission.
There is more working coming our way here in Kingsville also. I've a small drywall and painting job to undertake in the next several weeks. The word is beginning to spread and request for assistance beginning to come in. I will continue working to fulfill all that I can, until there are 'laborers' added to our ministry.
With the advent of the recent earthquake in Haiti I've been focusing on studying every report I can get. This is to work on implementation of the techniques that will solve a lot of the logistic problems that are currently hindering all the efforts currently ongoing! VCM represents CHRIST and all that we do shall bring honor to HIS name by being of the highest caliber. I will be looking to talk with those that return from Haiti in the future to garner what they had to face on a daily level. What were their needs? What were their expectations? Also what would they suggest, as to the improvements to responding to such disaster? Answers to all these and more, will improve all that we respond to in the name of CHRIST, bringing HIM honor, glory and praises, not condemnation!!!

December 14, 2009

I am currently still attempting to finish the work on the elderly couples home. Winter weather has set in and hasn't given me an open window to do the painting, all of which is outside. LORD willing this can be completed before or shortly after the first of the year, Please pray for this to be completed and for us to move onto other projects!!!

November 20, 2009

VCM is now a registered company in the state of Texas. There are but a few more details to complete and we will be a registered Unincorporated Non Profit ministry in the state also. Please keep us in your prayers for we can do nothing without the blessings of GOD being upon us.

November 21, 2009

I continue to work on a house here in Kingsville where the original contractor left before finishing. It's a slow process when going it alone, but the LORD has blessed me so far. I've complete about 60% of the painting that needed to be done. Weather permitting Monday I'll go at it some more. LORD willing by Friday it maybe completed. This job is a labor only one, they've supplied all the materials needed to complete the work. They just needed someone to do it.
